A commercial building owner we previously finished a job for, was so impressed by the quality of work, that he requested an immediate quote for the washing of his colorbond roof extensions. Since we valued them as cliens, we went to their house and quoted the job in person. After getting on the colorbond roof to have a more thorough look at its current state. Clearly, it had been neglected for quite a large period of time since the entire roof was completely overrun with black mould, lichen, and organic matter. We gave him a good price, because, despite the poor conditions, we knew that it was a job able to be handled by the team. Upon arriving on job day, we immediately pulled out the hose from the ute and got to spraying the entire area of his colorbond roof with a mix of sodium hypochlorite and water to dilute it. This resulted in most, if not all the organic matter dying and becoming substantially easier to remove. Once the second coat of chemical was completed, we finalised our processes, with a low pressure rinse to remove the remaining residues and give it that final touch. The results were incredible.
