Shocking Roof Cleaning in Newtown, Toowoomba
A homeowner in Newtown, Toowoomba gave us a call requesting for a quote on the cleaning of their single-storey tile roof. After arranging a date to quote, we arrived at their house and assessed the conditions of the roof. Obviously, it had years worth of neglect which reflected through the large number of mould and lichen growth consistent throughout the entire surface of the roof. We gave her a reasonable price which she accepted. Upon the scheduled day of the clean, we promptly prepared our equipment. Firstly, we mixed our diluted sodium-hypochlorite mixture which we then got onto the roof with, as well as our soft washer, using it to spray the chemical to the entire roof. After 10 minutes of letting the chemical apply and incorporate, there was already a contrasting difference from what was seen before. The dirt and dust discolouring the roof was gone, but what was left remaining was the dead remnants of the lichen. Of course, since we uphold our promise of quality service, the job would have not been fully complete until the final rinse using high pressure water from our pressure washer. This washed away all the remaining residue and lichen. The results were astonishing, going from a dark, mouldy, tile roof to a clean bright, red, tile roof restored to its original glory.
