We recently had a request to clean a Colourbond roof with heavily overgrown lichen consistent throughout its entirety. We accepted it and found out that the homeowner has not had a roof clean for several years and was getting the home ready for selling. We arrived at his single storey property and instantly got to work getting our pressure washer, surface cleaner and soft washer ready for use. With the help of our sodium hypochlorite chemical mixture and soft washer, we sprayed the mixture on the whole roof and watched as the organic matter died in front of our eyes. What was before, annoying overgrow on the roof impossible to remove, became mere green debris soft to the touch and easy to wash off with our pressure cleaner. Using our surface cleaner to clean the area of the roof, it was restored to its original glory. White as ever and glistening in the sun.
