Roof Cleaning in Kearney Springs, Toowoomba, QLD

We received a lead from a homeowner in Kearney Springs, Toowoomba, looking for a pressure-washing company to clean their terracotta roof. Our team quickly called the homeowners and organised a visit to their property so we can quote the roof cleaning. Once our team arrived it was apparent that the roof has not been cleaned for a VERY long time as the color of the roof has turned completely dark from algae, moss, and other various organic matter. The team quickly diagnosed that the best method would be to use soft washing as the tiles were fairly old and the organic matter has made them brittle and easy to damage if exposed to high pressure of water. We explained this to the clients and proceeded to organise a date for the project.

On the day of the job, we arrived with a pre-mixed solution of 1 part water to 2 parts SH, as a "hot-mix " was surely needed to eliminate the build-up on the roof. We used a soft wash system to evenly distribute our chemicals throughout the area of the roof. Although the mix we used was already potent, we could see that one coat would not be enough as the organic matter has built up a thick layer over the years. After about the second coating of our mix, majority of the build up has now been killed and the old color of the roof was now finally visible, we decided to leave the SH on the roof for a week so that it could continue killing the organics and allow for the sun and some rain to kill off and flush as much of the layers of organic matter away. When we came back, a significant difference was clearly visible already and we only had to spray on a few spots that had thicker layers of organics. After this, we were finally done and the clients were delighted to see a rejuvenated roof. Pressure Up House Washing Services has once again blown away the clientele's expectations.
