A homeowner in Gowrie Junction, Queensland contacted us through a website inquiring whether we did House Washing. Naturally, we said yes. He explained how he had grown distasteful of his roof and external gutters after years of it being ignored and having leaves, green mould, algae and black mould growing and building up all over the surfaces. Lichen had also encompassed in mass amounts on his external gutters as well. We went to his address for better scopes at the job we would be undergoing and were left with the price of $1400 which included his roof which had sticks basically covering the whole roof and his external gutters. He was happy with the price as he saw that it fit the intensity and magnitude of the job as well. We booked him in only a couple days after. On the day of arrival, we initiated the cleaning by getting rid of all the leaves, sticks, and other materials on his roof onto the ground which left his entire roof exposed. After cleaning the mess on the ground with our wheelbarrow, we simply sprayed our sodium-hypochlorite chemical mixture onto the surface of his roof, which we knew would eliminate the organic matter such as the black mould. We did the same for his external gutters and the lichen that was on there as well. After a couple minutes of letting the chemical incorporate, the difference was already visible, killing most, if not all the organic growth. To finish the job, we completed a final rinse down which sprayed off all the residue and left the surfaces looking shiny.
