Breathtaking Lichen Removal in Glenvale, Toowoomba

A homeowner that was referred onto us by a happy client was requesting a quote for a Roof Cleaning on her single-storey colourbond roof located at Glenvale, Toowoomba which had large amounts of visible mould growth on the entire surface area. We quoted the job in person and upon arrival we were surprised by the sheer number of lichen growth and dirt build-up that had plagued her roof. We accepted the job as she was desperately aspiring for it to be cleaned and for her water to be safe to drink. We gave her the price of $700 which she quickly accepted. Upon the day of arrival, without hesitation, we promptly started mixing our chemical solution consisting of diluted sodium hypochlorite and water. We then sprayed the entire roof area, making sure to hit the parts with lichen considerably. After 5 minutes, the lichen had mostly died and became soft enough for us to remove them by hand. That was our cue to get the pressure washer and surface cleaner onto the roof to complete the final rinse to remove any remaining chemical, lichen, and organic matters. The difference was simply breathtaking.
